The Ageless Dreamer® Foundation was honored to coordinate the crew of the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter, TAHOMA while they provided volunteer labor to the community between November 20th and December 20th, 2007 during deployment of their ship by another crew. Several downtown beautification projects sponsored by the Dover Main Street Program including the Joe B Parks Riverwalk Public Garden were tackled by this enthusiastic team of men & women. The crew also spent time working at the following organizations; Bell Center for the Performing Arts, McConnell Community Center, Dover Adult Learning , Cocheco Valley Humane Society, Exchange City in Portsmouth, Easter Seals Disability Services, The HUB, Dover Childcare Center, UNH Social Work Department outreach center, Dover Mounted Police Patrol, Growing Places Child Care Center in Lee, Seacoast Interfaith Hospitality Center in Greenland and

Thank you to the Greater Seacoast United Way for bring this opportunity to our attention and to all the folks that worked with the Coasties or provided refreshments to keep everyone well nourished and fortified during their visit to our community.
